My product photos are showing up extremely blurry and I need them to be clear, as they are when I upload them. I have changed the resolution and size many times and matching the sizes recommended online (2048x2048 px) at high res, but to no avail do my pictures show up clear.
How can I fix this? Is there code that needs to be changed/removed/added?

For that many factor can affect, but you ca try to check code in snippet->card-product.liquid
check if you have below size selected and rest of code in this manner?
Hi @SimonSmith , did you try change setting of Image ratio in store admin > Sale Channels > Online store > Themes > Customize > click dropdown menu at the top > Collections > Default collection
