Has anybody created product thumbnail slider for the DAWN theme . I have found some code for other themes but that did not seem to work on DAWN. Any help is appreciated.

The only issue i am facing is that all images added in the product media
have been called into the slider component, however, i need one of the
images to stay in its original large size i.e. lifetstyle image and am not
sure how to do this once the thumbnail slider is added.

I like the slider except for the counter in the bottom (4/5 makes no sense and is kinda annoying). Is there a way to jus thave the arrows instead of the 4/5? Is there also a way to auto-select the first image when the page loads?

@made4Uo - thank you for providing a solution! great tutorial. I noticed your video and website were slightly different towards the end on Step 9 and 10 when editing the global.js file. I believe the video was just showing to change the number from 1 to “4”. The website steps showed to add a couple more lines of code to that js file.
I saw a note to disregard the video. What is the difference between the 2 tutorials. Which one do you recommend following for the Dawn OS 2.0 theme?

The code in the video will change the slider-component and I know some of the sections uses the slider. So the code in the website is exclusive to the product page code

I followed your instructions to convert the Dawn product page to debut and now the Add to Cart button doesn’t work on the product page. The pics show up just like I want them, but I receive an error when trying to add to cart. The error says parameter missing. I don’t have variants. Just several pics of the product. The variant box is not checked on the product page in the backoffice.
Is there a way to hide the number below he image and just keep the arrows on the side?
@CCDesigns do you use app that has something to do with your cart?

@made4Uo I only use one app to provide a digital download upon checkout and to email the download. I cannot disable it because my site is live and people are ordering.

@made4Uo Also, its not the app. I created a new shopify store as a test and made your suggested code changes to the Dawn theme. No apps are installed. I still receive the same error message.
It seems like it is something to do with an app that is using ajax calls. For some reason, the product page is not compatible with the app you are using. I cannot seem to recreate that error
