Dawn Theme - Showcasing variants as a separate product

Hey all,

I’ve been searching for methods to showcase different variants as an individual product. But I can’t seem to get any of the codes I have found to work on Dawn theme.

Basically what I’m looking for is variants for a specific product (Example: T-Shirt - White/T-Shirt - Black) to be showcased as a separate product. When clicked onto, it will direct them to the MAIN product (T-Shirt) and the variants can be selected from there.

I have barely any knowledge in coding so I’m unable to get codes for other themes to work on the Dawn theme. Would be great if anyone could help me out

Thank you.

Hi @BzTan ,

You want this feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARpSIscriYA

You can refer to the instructions of the following post: https://community.shopify.com/c/technical-q-a/runnig-javascript-on-load-to-hide-unselected-variant-images/m-p/1517867#M82196

Hope it helps!

Hi @LitCommerce

Glad you replied but unfortunately, that is not what I’m looking for.

The feature that I want is the showcasing of variants as an individual product. So on the collection page I can see multiple T-Shirts of different colors. But when clicked onto it will direct to the main T-Shirt product page where you can see all the different color variants from.

Hi @BzTan ,

It will be a complex requirement and requires many changes, so it will be difficult for someone to guide you in detail.

I recommend you to install the app for it, refer https://apps.shopify.com/show-variants-on-collection-page

Hope it helps!
