Dawn theme - unnecessary white space between sections and section overlap on Home page

Hi All,

All my sections after the top image banner have moved down creating unnecessary white space between the image banner section and the multicolumn section (SS1) as well as causing a section overlap of the collage section and the footer section (SS2) on my home page.

This happened since I added another image banner in the middle of the page.

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Hi @Myellagroup ,

I checked and the code you add ā€˜ā€™ at sections/image-banner.liquid file is not correct.

So you can switch the code back to theme defaults, everything will work fine: https://i.imgur.com/Q7TJsTm.png

Or you can change the whole code with this code: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Shopify/dawn/main/sections/image-banner.liquid

If you want to put banner on header, I will help you with another code after you fix this error.

I tried everything as you asked and now Iā€™m using the code you shared.

However, very little changed. The white space is still there and only the overlapping got improved slightly as below.

Go to layout/theme.liquid file, go to the end of the file and remove code: https://i.imgur.com/B2zS6Ja.png

I am using Dawn 2.5 and I would also like to remove the white space between sections but the theme.liquid file is only 198 rows for me. There is nothing similar to the code you sent an image of. Do you have any ideas?
