"Default Title" variant appearing on translated version of site at checkout pages

Hi,

I have a site that has English as its primary language, and it was translated to French. Some of my items have variants, and many do not.

On my English site: If I put an item in my cart that has no variants, the checkout behaves normally and display no variant title.

On my French site: if I put an item in my cart that has no variants, it displays “Title: Default Title” in French (Titre: Titre par defaut) on my checkout pages. Something is clearly different between my two sites.

How do I make it so that it only displays the variant titles if there is actually a variant? Note that if there is a variant, it does display it correctly on the French and English site.

https://safaripetcenter.com/fr/ if any of you would like to try it for yourself. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Considering that the English page is not displaying this, I’m sure there’s a way to fix it. But ok.
