I am having great success with the one-click product from Zipify. I a, however experiencing a problem in the fullfilment being sent to by fullfillment partner Printful. Here is what is happening:
User checks out successfully
Order line items are sent directly to my fullfilment center
Customer agrees to a post purchase up sell
Shopify sends the additional line item, however the order is now locked with Printful and requires manual editing.
How can I delay the order from autofullfullment for a specific amount of time to allow the post purchase offer to be accepted?
Nice Zipify is great I’ve had success with it too.
I don’t think there’s a way to do it in the Shopify admin, but you can use an app to achieve it.
I would first contact Printful and ask them if they can set a delay of like 10 minutes before processing.
If that doesn’t work, a common workflow people use with our app Order Automator is to let the app control fulfillment and turn off auto-fulfillment in Shopify. You can create auto fulfillment rules and set a delay, so in your case you could create a rule to auto fulfill the Printful items, but wait X minutes before processing the order so that fulfillment request doesn’t get sent until the upsell is complete.
