So first off I’m exhausted and emotional as I just spent 8 hours deleting producs that came across in the sku plugin that I don’t sell online from my shop.
To only find rhwy have not deleted at all. Some of rhem I have tried 3 times and they still there.
I read this was an issue a few years ago buy surely rhis has been resolved by now. I’m so irate right now.
The sku plugin doubled the inventory because I was unaware of how this really worked and no tutorial. It’s says it will just do its thing. In reality I’m new never done rhis before and my website is now a complete and utter mess and I can’t delete anything.
I have got the sku plugin team to create a rule not to duplicate products it can’t find a matching sku code for but that took 3 hours for them to do that.
How on earth do I delete products that it made live also with no function to delete them…grrrrrrrr
That does sound very exhausting, but hopefully we can help you get this sorted. Can you please tell me what SKU app you’re using in your store? If the products are still synced and connected to the app you’re using, you might have to delete them through the app or disconnect them. If you share the name of the app, I can look into this more for you.
It’s simply called SKU plug in and is the accepted app. I spoke to then at length it’s not their end. They have now created a rule that no new items will be created
But that’s not the problem. The problem is I spent 8 hours deleting items and rhis morning rhey still all there the delete doesn’t work at all and now I have live products on my site that I don’t sell and haven’t sold for years
