Deleting or altering Shop login without switching to Legacy account

Topic summary

A store is experiencing confusion on their login page due to the automatic Shop login feature that appears when using new Customer Accounts (required for B2B functionality).

The Problem:

  • New Customer Accounts are enabled to access B2B features
  • This automatically activates the Shop login option
  • Customers are getting confused by the Shop login presence

Desired Solution:
The store wants to either:

  • Remove the Shop login feature entirely, OR
  • Customize the login page to add clarifying text (e.g., “For B2B, please use the email login feature”)

Constraint:
Switching back to Legacy accounts is not an option since it would disable B2B capabilities.

The discussion remains open with no solutions proposed yet. An attached screenshot shows the current login page layout with the Shop login option visible.

Hi!

We’re currently facing troubles with our log in page. Currently we have Customer accounts active on Shopify instead of Legacy, because of the B2B features. But this does automatically enable the Shop login feature as seen underneath as well. This has been causing questions and confusion. We can’t switch to Legacy because of B2B but we do want the Shop log in either deleted or this page altered, to say: For B2B, please use the email login feature. Does anyone have suggestions how this can be achieved?
