Disable "Add to cart" button for a few products

Hello,

I want to disable “Add to cart” for a few products, but not all of them.

Specifically, I would like to disable the “Add to cart” button for all the products belonging to 3 collections: Oaty Breakfast, Hearty Lunch, and Comfort Dinner. All the products of these 3 collections are displayed right on the home page. Here is the link to my home page: https://wowberrybites.myshopify.com/

I have one more collection - “Choose your baby’s next meals”. This collection is displayed when a customer clicks “Let’s start”, here is the link https://wowberrybites.myshopify.com/collections/first-bites-bundles). For the products in this collection, I still want “Add to cart” to be visible. I just want to make sure that the change of the other 3 collections will not affect this collection. Here is the picture.

I checked and it needs to change on many different products. Therefore, I recommend creating a new template for these products.

After creating it, you need to change to hide add to cart for products and choose templates for those products.

Or if it’s too complicated, you can create a staff account, I’ll help you add it quickly.

@LitCommerce Hello, I do not think you need me to create a staff account for you. You just need to have your own Shopify partner account and send me a collaborator request. I can then grant you access to edit my website code.

Hi there!

My name is Alfredo…I am having some problems with Shopify lately!!

I have been looking the last days how to remove the add to cart button in the collection pages (featured collection is also in the homepage so the button appears here too) I just want the button to appear on the product page but I have tried everything without any success. I Saw some of your replies helping people on the Shopify community so I thought maybe you could help me with this thing here :slightly_smiling_face:

You just need to follow the steps:

  • Step 1: Add new template.

  • Step 2: Set condition to disable ‘add to cart’.

  • Step 3: Go to the products that need to be disabled and choose a template for it.

I ended up removing a bit of code from the color swatch app and it seems it worked!

Now theres this annoying underline progress bar on the collection pages. I have for some time tried to change but my code skills are next to none :disappointed_face:

When I mouse over the image in the collection as illustrated below, an underline appears which runs from left to right, How can I remove this “running underline” and the product from sliding images automatically?
