hello. looking to set up discounts that will apply when my csr place orders on the back end of shopify. I use hulk app now but I guess they only apply discounts on the front end, which is very inconvenience. My store is very complex with discounts. almost every product has price breaks, and each one has at least 2. None of them are the same, there is no rhyme or reason to the discounts no % no set amount its just a different $ amount. what can I do.

Hi @biocorp1 ,

Function based discounts do not apply automatically to draft orders (manual orders created on the backend) - however, there’s a small workaround that you can do here!

I’ve recorded a quick loom video of how you can set up a discount to be applicable for draft orders

Sharing also a written version of this

  1. Set up your automatic discount on Shopify / on your discount app
  2. When you create an order from the backend through draft orders you’d need to choose “Add discount” > “Apply all eligible automatic discounts”
  3. And you should be good to go!
