Display prices including VAT in the Buy Button?

Hello,

is there a way to show prices in the buy button UI including VAT?

Like recalculating the price*VAT

We have our shop set to excl VAT and there doesnt seem to be an option in any of the sales channel apps to switch those to including as it is required by law in our country.

What you mention is doable, however the price you have in the backend will still be the one showing in the cart. Why are you not ticking the “charge taxes” option on the products and configuring the Zone according to your VAT?

thanks, unfortunately our ERP only syncs prices excl VAT and we have taxfree B2B customer groups set up based on tagging using Bold custom pricing app.

We are based in the EU.

So this seemed like the best way to handle things. We show prices excl/incl VAT for retail customers and excl VAT for B2B. People are automatically able to create B2B accounts using Sufio VAT check.

I will look into doing it the other way round and showing/recalculating the prices excl VAT in the storefront.

I think it would be preferable if Shopify offered more flexibility in their sales channels when it comes to recalculating prices. Many shopping feed apps do this by default but Shopifys native apps unfortunately dont.

I managed to manipulate the price on the buy button but havent found a way to recalc in the buy button cart yet. It should be possible I think.
