Do I need to register with the ICO if customer data is stored on Shopify?

Hello,

I’m new to this. I received an email stating that I must register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Can anyone clarify if I need to register and pay the annual fee if essentially all customer data is stored on Shopify?
