Do the new POS UI extensions allow for utilizing the Scanner?

I’m looking at the documentation for the new POS UI extensions: https://shopify.dev/docs/api/pos-extensions/ui-extensions-reference

But I can’t find any documentation on utilizing the Scanner API (e.g. to scan a barcode) like we are able to do through a POS Link tile.

Can we use the scanner in the new POS UI extension API?

Umm, that’s right, it’s not linked in the summary page, in any case I think you want the following example, it’s linked in the sidebar, in the list of APIs, correct?
