My question is does the vendor send an invoice to get paid after the cusomer product has been shipped out to them.

It sounds as though you are referring to the dropshipping process, is that right?
If so, the products from your customer’s order must be purchased by you, the store owner, directly with the vendor all while including the shipping information of the customer. Then the vendor will send the product directly to your customer.
Can you tell me more about the vendors you are working with and through which application? I’ll be happy to locate a guide for you.
