Edit USPS priority Mail Estimated Days

I’ve read that the default cart setting fetches data from USPS to estimate the arrival times of packages. However, as we all know, USPS is not accurate at all. So we have customers expecting to receive their package in “2 business days” as that’s what it says in the cart. The UPS estimated time is accurate. We want to encourage our customers to select UPS 2nd Day Air if they really want to receive the package in 2 days. It’s confusing for our customers.

How can this line of text be edited? *Note, I only want to edit what’s in the circle, not all the shipping methods. It would be better if it said, “2 to 5 business days”

I’ve seen another post saying to add an extra day of processing, however, this isn’t the case for us as we do ship same day. And that throws off all other shipment methods.

That information on the estimated delivery time for carrier calculated shipping can’t be changed as it is also provided by the shipping carrier.

I would encourage you to reach out to your shipping carrier to share that feedback as well.

Thanks - but I don’t think I’ll have a lot of luck getting anyone’s attention at USPS.

Doing a quick search on these boards I can see a lot of others that have the same issue we’re having.

An override for custom text would be a good solution.
