Hello, I am trying to figure out how to change the name of my store in the footer. I am currently using Blockshop theme.

Follow my steps below to get this solved
Step 1: Online Stores > Themes > More Actions > Edit code
Step 2: find and click on footer.liquid > in this file find for : shop.name
Step 3: Change it to what text you want

Hi! I tried to make this change for the same issue. I had no luck. I recieve an error. I replaced shop.name with my store name and have error. Can you help?

If you are experiencing issues on your store can you please share what theme you are using and a link to your online store so we can have a look? If you can also provide some screenshots and details about the change you are trying to make, that will help us troubleshoot this with you.
Thank you for your reply. I am using Refresh theme. My Store name is set differently then my shop name due to being the H1 Tag. Therefore the footer is displaying that same H1 name vs my actual Shop name.
I would like my actual shop name to be displayed in the footer. Not the H1 header linked to admin shop name.
Its not working when i change it my own name.
Just an update on this thread. I had to contact the BlockShop Theme
developer to make the change. I would recommend anyone experiencing the
same issue even after following Shopify’s instructions to do the same.
