since shopify doesnt support the mandatory vies system at checkout, i was following some posts from this forum, e.g. changing the address line 2 into vat number.
Now i got some orders where i need to deduct the vat afterwards, basically in the core shopify.
So i can generate a proper invoice and export for my accountant as well.
If i edit the order after i set the customer to VAT exempt, it still shows the VAT in the order itself.
How i can remove it, this should be something basic or general to be honest.
Anyone any idea, its urgent, going to the end of the month. And some companies need to report.

Hi @IKRDE , This is indeed something Shopify lacks; that is why we made an app to resolve this problem. If you want to sell B2B to other EU countries and want to be able to do VAT exemption I highly recommend trying OO EU Tax exemption. See: https://apps.shopify.com/oo-eu-tax-exemption customers can fill in and validate their VAT ID themselves in the checkout and VAT is automatically exempted from the order.
