Hi all, when we go to Orders- and Export the csv, the column BB “location” is not always populated. We have several locations set up, and generally two of our locations appear in col BB, but some just don’t appear at all. (This is not that when a customer buys multiple products, that the location is only populated on the first product line). Does anybody know why? Thanks a lot, Christine
Do you have retail locations? If so, this would represent sales from those locations. Orders without would be online sales.
Hi, yes we have 2 retail locations, 1 eComm shop and another location we use for an online ticketing app.
The 2 retail locations come through in the report, but the eComm shop and online ticketing do not come through, the col BB is simply empty. In this sense, they are both online sales.
Why would Shopify not name the location for online sales?

Hi There - this is because the location field is only intended to include physical locations. If you want to know which are online versus in person it may be possible to use the “Source” column. If you’d like a more custom export, our Report Toaster app can help if you’d like to take a look.
