just wondering while using a P-max campaign, how can I get my products to show as PLA’s (product listing ads) rather than search text. Can you also have P max campaigns controlling retargeting ads?

I’m trying to understand your question, so I assume you don’t want text ads targeting in PMax, if so, then you need to setup Pmax with no ad assets, explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6VhX7MqIgY

That will allow you to only target display ads and shopping ads. Hope it helps.
