We have thousands of products. We need a search bar for searching the product type that we need to filter. Please tell Shopify developers about this. Thank you!

I can certainly see the benefit of allowing filters to be applied to find specific product types! Just to gather a bit of context, are you wanting the search bar and filters to be added to the online store front for your customers? Or, would you be referencing the search bar and filters for your products within the admin?
You can apply filters to your searches within the products of your admin. In order to do this, you will need to select the option More Filters > Product Types to filter the search. I took a couple of screenshots from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
