I launched a new store in the spring and have had really slow sales. Any feedback the community can send my way would be greatly appreciated. (design, speed, layout, content… etc.)

Hi @caprisun7 ,
Kate here from the PageFly Shopify Landing Page Builder App.
I checked out your store, and you’ve done a great job with the product offerings! Here are a few areas where you could potentially enhance your site to drive more sales:
1. The Navigation
The site’s navigation is functional, but you could simplify it by consolidating similar categories. For example, products like home decor, kids’ items, and needle arts can be grouped under broader categories, allowing for easier browsing.
2. Add hero banner section
It allows you to immediately capture visitors’ attention and highlight key messages or promotions.
Highlight Key Offerings: Use the hero banner to introduce special deals, new arrivals, or seasonal collections. For instance, if you’re launching new cross-stitch project bags or have a special discount on fabric, feature that in the banner.
Consistency: Ensure the hero banner aligns with your overall brand aesthetic, such as colors and fonts, to maintain a cohesive experience throughout your site.
A concise headline with a short subheading works best. For example, “Handcrafted Project Bags for Every Crafter” with a CTA like “Shop Now” or “Discover Our Collection.”
Like this:
3. Add best seller product section on the homepage
The homepage looks clean, but consider highlighting your best-selling or featured products more prominently. For example, the project bags and unique fabrics are popular, so showcasing them immediately can draw attention.
It can be look like this:
1. Product Descriptions
The product descriptions are good, but adding more detail about the unique features of each item, such as the craftsmanship and materials, would help. For example, your fabric selection includes high-quality cotton options, which you could emphasize further to show the value of your products.
2. Storytelling
Consider adding a section about the inspiration behind your brand, the artisans, or the origin of your materials, which could create an emotional connection with visitors.
Loading Times: You could look into optimizing your images and ensuring that your site loads quickly. A slow website can impact user engagement and conversions. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights can help you identify potential improvements.
Overall, you’ve built a charming site, and with a few tweaks, you might see an increase in engagement and sales! Keep up the great work!

Hey there @caprisun7 here are a few suggestions I’ve got on how you could improve your store
Add sections for the best selling products and latest arrivals on the homepage. It’ll make it much easier for customers to look through your store.
It’s great that you have quite a number of customer reviews on the homepage but it’ll be even better if you presented them in a more appealing more. Maybe try an app like judge.me to make the presentation even better and moving.
It would be a good idea to add accepted methods of payment on the bottom of the homepage so customers can have an idea of the different avenues they can use to make purchases.
I wish you and your store the best of luck!
Hi Kate and thanks so much for your thoughts… looks like some items I can take immediate action on. So appreciate it.
Thanks Emmanuel. Appreciate your feedback! I’m using the judgeme app, but will look into how I can better format the reviews.
Hello @caprisun7 ,
I’m Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
Below are some of my feedback to help you improve your store and attract more customers:
1. User experience
I think you could simplify the main menu on the homepage by only keeping the options for Collections, Best Sellers, About Us, and Contact. Then, under Collections, you could design a separate product page that allows customers to view all available collections or filter products that they are interested in.
Here’s an example of how to organize a product page that is both functional and user-friendly: https://www.shopify.com/blog/product-page
2. Presentation
3. Pricing and offers
Overall, your website is well-organized and detailed. I believe that by improving some of these aspects, your store will leave a stronger impression on your customers.
If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a ‘LIKE’ or marking it as a ‘SOLUTION’.
Best,
Tracy from the BON Loyalty team
