Do you have any recommendations on free tools to use for keyword research other than Google’s keyword planner?

Free tools: As a company that constantly needs to improve its clients’ data, I don’t use any free tools, as they are just not useful.
I use OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, spyfu, and a lot of custom coding for very specific goals.
All of this is expensive, but I do get results. Of course, that is not helpful for you.
So here is what you can do, albeit limited. And by limited meaning, you have a set amount of searches per day, month, free tier, etc.
Look at keyword surfer, which shows you search volume and cpc data from google search results.
AnswerThePublic, which generates keyword ideas from people asking questions.
AlsoAsked for visuaziling people also asks questions from google.
Ubersuggest for keyword ideas, search volume.
keywordtool.io for suggestions
Google trends for popularity keyword research
Ahrefs for keyword popularity
Moz keyword explorer.
