Google Merchant Center - Misrepresentation

I can’t seem to get my website setup on Google Merchant Center properly. I keep getitng “misrepresentation” and can’t figure out why. Can someone please take a look and help me figure it out. This happened the very first time I submitted it to GMC. Thank you in advance!

As I see you have a DBA, make sure you don’t have multiple DBAs, as Google is clamping down on businesses trying to setup multiple websites / dba’s

1 merchant = 1 business / website

Make sure not to use @gmail.com but instead @diecastchristmas.com

Make sure the address you used, is real and where you are located.

These are just examples, to check for more issues have a look at the policies below:

Thank you, So for the DBA. We only have the one website. Our state registered business name is “Tammys Vintage Treasures” and our website is “Diecast Christmas” (diecastchristmas.com). So in the Business info section of GMC for “Business Display Name” of GMC which one should it say? And what should the name of the business be on Google Business Manager? Thanks!

For example use the website URL.

Hi @EmmanuelFlossie

Just wondering if you can shed some light as to why I keep getting issues with Google Merchant Store.

1. Website or online store needs improvement

2. Misrepresentation

My Website - https://techessen.com

Thanks in advance

For example missing business details in the footer (address, email, business name, business hours, etc)

For example, missing in or out of stock in the product landing page.

You may have more issues, as checking a website is a big task, so use the policies in my earlier reply to check for more issues.

So for my business listing in “Google Business Profile” should I use the URL https://diecastchristmas.com that I have on GMC or use my legal business name of “Tammys Vintage Treasures”. GMC and GBP are linked so they probably check to make sure everything matches and that may be part of the problem??

I believe I have already replied to that question, I think you reached out via email.

Well that didn’t work. Bad advice - I changed my Google Business Profile
to match the business name on GMC and now they have suspended my GBP
because of the change. Ugh.

If the business name is valid you should be able to submit the business documents and get it approved, you can ask for more guidance here: https://support.google.com/business/community?hl=en
