Google Merchant Suspended for Misrepresentation

Hi All

I am facing issues with google misrepresentation. I am a dropshipper and everytime I try to list products on google they keep getting rejected for misrepresentation. Here is the screenshot of the error I keep receiving.

I have also received a google ads suspension, I am not sure why. I got given this information, but I dont understand what I am doing wrong. I have followed all the guidlines, and I am still being told I am misrepresenting. I am desperate for any help I can get. When google pulled out auto information on my website to set up the ad, all the information was about scuba diving, however my store is an online resource store for children with disabilities. I manually changed the information, but I dont know if maybe that is why I keep being told I am misreprecenting. How do I fix this?

Everytime I try and upload a picture aswell, whether it be for ads, or my marketplace listing on google, they all get disapproved. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. If anyone has any help or guidance, I would be very greatful.

Thank You

Kirstin

Hello @SpectrumExplore !

Thank you for sharing all of the details, including the screenshots.

When it comes to anything related to Google or Google ads, we don’t have any influence on our end, as it is entirely within their control.

I would strongly advise you to get in touch with their support directly here, you will see their Contact us option at the bottom of that page. They will be best equipped to investigate these errors for you and let you know what the next steps are.

Aside from this issue, how are you getting on with Shopify? I noticed that you’re a new member, so I would love to see if there is anything I can help you out with.

Hi Lana

Thank you for the help. I will get in touch with google. I am working on the website, I havent made any sales yet, but still growing my social media marketing and improving my site and products everyday.

I would be happy for any advice you may have. I am excited to start my eCommerce journey and learn as much as I can as I go.

Absolutely!

I would be happy to offer some advice, if you would like to share the link to your store here.

Speaking of social media, it’s really good that you’re on top of this. Social media such as TikTok and Instagram can serve as outreach platforms, which will help potential customers get to know your business while they’re on their daily scrolling.

I have a Shopiy Blog article for you here on How to Create a Social Media Marketing Strategy which can provide some more insight into this, if you’re interested!
