Google Shopping Issue - Add shipping costs

The google app is not sending through my shipping costs making google disapprove all of my products.

Does anyone know why has this only just changed? It has been working fine for years.

I use an app for UK postage costs and always have, nothing has changed in the app or in my settings, this all started on the 10th August, has there been a change i Google or Shopify updates??

The free google shopping app you are using, does not submit 3rd party apps shipping info. It will only use the native shipping info submitted.

So it’s possible this issue you see now, you did not notice before.

You will need to replicate the shipping settings in Google Merchant Center using the options listed here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6069284?hl=en

Make sure to disable automatic shipping option in the app settings to avoid your manual edits to be overwritten by the app you are using.

Thanks for the message, is this a new thing as it has been working fine for
the last 6 years and only on August 10th it has stopped pushing through the
postage costs.

I recommend in that case to contact Shopify support, if you are using the free Google App, which is maintained by Shopify.

When you use a third-party shipping carrier partner, you might get this issue. As the channel app will not update the shipping details. In order to solve this you can manually create the shipping settings in Google merchant center and this will solve the issue.
