Hi, it’s best to learn by yourself SEO and implement in your website. I handle my website myself.

Interesting! What’s the pros and cons of handling seo by yourself so far?

I will handle it on my own at first when encountering SEO issues, but if I fail to make further progress, I will seek help from SEO specialist or ask questions in SEO related communities directly, to gather more ideas and maybe one of them is the key to solution.

Hi,

Eli here from TinyIMG. When it comes to SEO, it really depends on what stage your store is at.

If your store is already set up properly from a technical standpoint, I’d suggest starting out on your own. But if you feel it’s getting overwhelming or too time-consuming, that’s when bringing in an expert makes sense.

A good approach is to combine both. Use an SEO app to cover the technical side and give you a head start - it’ll help you understand the basics of SEO while saving you a ton of time. Then, when you’re ready, you can focus on external SEO (backlinks, content strategy, outreach) with the help of an SEO specialist.

For example: optimizing 100 images manually can take around an hour, but with an app it’s just 5 minutes. The same goes for keyword research. Doing it from scratch can be overwhelming without guidance, while the right tools and workflow make it much easier.

That way, you get the best of both worlds: efficiency from the app, and strategy from the expert.

I handle all SEO myself. I prefer managing strategy, optimization, and monitoring directly so I can keep full control over results.

I handle most of it myself — at least for the basic to mid-level stuff. I’ve had a few experiences in the past with so-called SEO “experts” who promised the world, but ended up either giving super obvious advice, making things worse (especially on performance), or just slowly draining the budget with very little real value.

So now I prefer to learn and implement things myself unless it’s something really technical or time-consuming. At least this way I know exactly what’s being done and why.
