Header not responding to changes in the editor (Refresh Theme)

Topic summary

Header settings changed in the Shopify theme editor are not reflected on the live site. The store owner reports two specific issues:

  • Setting the sticky header to “Only show on scroll up” has no effect.
  • Disabling header visibility in the editor still leaves the header visible on the storefront.

A helper suggests the problem likely stems from theme code overriding editor settings and recommends reviewing the theme’s code. They also suggest hiring a theme developer to fix the design behavior.

No concrete fix or steps were provided in-thread, and no resolution is confirmed. Next likely actions: inspect customizations, scripts, or theme files that might bypass editor visibility/sticky settings. The site link was shared for reference. Discussion remains open.

I am trying to design my header but whatever changes I make to it in the editor, doesn’t show in the actual website. For example, I selected for the sticky header to ONLY show on SCROLL UP but didn’t change anything. Or another example is when I turned off the visibility for the header in the editor, it didn’t change anything, and the header was STILL visible. Here is my website link Viibed

Hello @Viibed

As need to check with the code in the designing part why it is not working. Or I should suggest to hire a theme developer that you will help with the designing part.

Let me know if you face any issues?
