We received an email from the Google team that we have a number of pages with indexing issues. When I follow the email link to view issue details I’m taken to a page titled Page indexing > Duplicate without user-selected canonical.
Looking at the examples (there are 16 examples) they refer to pages/urls that have nothing to do with our site.
For example . ../collections/all/Diablo-4-Gems-XBOX, Best-site X4GM·com Cheap-Price Fast-Delivery Diablo-4-Gold-PC,diablo-4-season-23-power-leveling,Diablo-4-Gold,Diablo-4-Items-XBOX,d4-Items-XBOX,d4-solo-power-leveling,d4-Item-PS4-PS5,d4-Items-PC,d4-Item-XBOX,Diablo-IV-Item-PC, 470c
We are a food company. Diablo 4 and x4cgm.com have anything to do with our company.
Where to I start to track down the source of the problem? Thanks so much!
Has anyone found any sort of solution? I still have 15 of these fake spam pages that are getting indexed. I tried a ‘temporary removal’ of the pages from Google but that didn’t seem to help and the removal ‘expired’ within days.
I don’t know if it is related, but my Google search rankings fell off a cliff when these fake pages started to get indexed. And they are still declining.
Here is an example of what mine look like:
…/collections/all/telegram-hacking-using-termux, my telegram【@kunghac】 -telegram-1k-followers-hack,private-account-hack,hacking-of-telegram-account,hublaagram-hack,https-github-com-thelinuxchoice-inshackle,hacker-online-telegram,thegramhacker,hack-telegram-account-and-verified,iphone-hacks-telegram,hack-telegram-acc-2021-free, ab4e
I have the same issue with “canonical tags”. You seem to have reached a solution. The link you included in a “securtity issue” thread has so many answers…I got lost.
What would the solution? Do you know is there a video somewhere to see a fix step by a step?
