Hi all,
Who can help me with my homepage? After I upload a new slide for the homepage, the image is showing too large. In the Edit Mode or mobile mode, it looks fine. Problem only comes from Desktop.
Pls refer to my homepage to check: https://amomentoftea.com.au/
This is what looks in the mobile.
Hi @Zachary_Mao ,
I’m Kate. I just checked the first hero banner on your store, and the rendered size of image is 1440 × 1219 px on a laptop. That’s why the image appears oversized. To resolve this, please click on the settings for that section and check the recommended size for images like this. This will ensure you’re using the optimal image size:
After that, you can adjust the image for each section.
I hope my suggestions will provide you with valuable insights.
Kate,
Dear Kate,
thank you very much for your kindness.
I just check my editing mode, it not showing any recommendation on sizes of images.
Should I try the size in your pic?
Cheers
Zachary

Hi @Zachary_Mao ,
In this case, you can reduce height of the background image or try the 2880 x 1200px size to check. The height of your background image is excessive with the section. Please check and let me know if it works for you.
Kate,
ok, I will try both slides as I changed one. It’s still too large.

Hi @Zachary_Mao ,
It’s amazing.
Your store looks great now and is very well-designed. Based on my experience, I’d like to share some suggestions that could further improve the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) for your store:
1. Make the announcement bar more highlighted
For a more attractive presentation of the deal and shipping details, you can consider to change the text or background color in this section:
2. Add “Add to cart” button
When customers see an easy way to add items to their cart, they might be more inclined to make impulse purchases, potentially increasing sales.
3. Add images for sections
Customers are often more drawn to images than text. Consider adding visuals to these sections for greater appeal.
You can check this image for an example :
4. Consider adding these information to the homepage for better engagement:
- Trust badges: such as secure payment icons and accreditation logos, assure customers of your store’s legitimacy and security, crucial in the apparel industry for concerns about product quality and payment safety. Like this:
- Integrate social media into your store: to foster stronger connections with customers, boost brand recognition, and enhance the potential for increased sales. Like this:
I hope my suggestions will provide you with valuable insights.
Wishing you continued success,
Kate
