Hiding the price of sold out items on the Minimal theme

I’ve created a collection for sold out items that automatically appear when inventory = 0 but I would like to hide the price on this collection as well.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, @shop-kiyo .

Elias here with Shopify Support. Thank you for reaching out!

Since you’re using a Shopify-supported theme, hiding the prices of sold out items may be something that our Theme Support team can help you with. As this type of customization is supported by our design policy and, if your store is subscribed to a plan, you’re eligible to use the complimentary design time included with your plan for this customization request.

To help get your customization request started, I’ve sent an authentication email to the registered email we have on file. Please check your inbox/spam folders and reply to it. Once I’ve received your confirmation, I’ll be able to move forward with the next steps.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

@shop-kiyo - please share your website URL for this collection. It will need css.

https://shop-kiyo.com/collections/sold-out

@shop-kiyo please add this css to the very end of your theme.scss file and check

.grid-link__meta {display: none; visibility: hidden; opacity: 0;}

It removed the price from the page but the price will still show when you click on the product.

for product page we wil need to edit product page code, for that you will
need to add me to staff. It is not single line code.

How do I do that?

Hey, @shop-kiyo .

It looks like our Theme Support team has completed your customization request. Did you receive a follow-up email from one of our Theme Support Specialists?

That being said, if you’d like to add @suyash1 as a staff, we’ve got a guide to help you with that here: Give staff permissions to your store.

If you have any other questions on this topic, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Hi! I have the same issue - I need your help please!

@nicolersstudio - this needs code editing, please ask support if they can do, else I can do it for you, I can send collab request. If you need anything then please let me know, you have my email below.

Thank you for joining the thread!

Just to confirm, are you also looking to hide the prices for sold out items on the Minimal theme?

If so, then this is something that our Theme Support team can help you with. However, it’s important to note that your store would need to be subscribed to a plan in order to receive the complimentary design time included with the Shopify Design Policy. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to help you with submitting a customization request through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.

That being said, if you’re using a third-party theme or you’ve exhausted the 60 minutes of complimentary design time included with your subscription, then you can also consider hiring a developer to help you with this. If you need help finding a developer, then please check out our directory of certified developers on Shopify Experts.

I’d love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products do you sell? Have you tried getting in touch with our Support team before?

Hello, I’m on a subscription and need assistance with exactly this please - as I’m selling work I move it to a ‘sold’ collection but want to hide price. Grateful for any advice please! Erin

Hello, @erinliliana .

Thank you for reaching out and joining the thread!

You can create an additional template for your collections and hide the product prices on this template, then you can apply this template for your Sold collection. If you’re using a Shopify-supported theme, then this is something that our Theme Support team can help you with. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.

That being said, if you’re using a third-party or custom theme, then we’d recommend checking with the theme designer on support for your theme. If the theme developer doesn’t offer customization support, then you can also consider hiring a developer to help you with your theme. If you need help finding a developer for your store, then we’d encourage taking a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Experts.

I’d love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products do you sell? Are the sold products not getting restocked since you’re moving them to a separate collection?
