Hi, my main menu has the option ‘about’. I want to select a section on my home page (the section that says ‘About me’) so that when I click on the menu-option about it will scroll down (with a smooth scroll) on the homepage to that section. Can somebody help me with this?
You need to add /#shopify-section-template--25451915805052__section_9eEYVk as the address when creating your menu.
The system will pop-up a suggestion – select it:

Yes you can definitely do that in Shopify. What you want is called an anchor link - basically linking the menu item to a specific section ID on the same page. Here’s how to set it up:
- Go to Online Store → Navigation → Main Menu
- Edit the About menu item.
- Instead of a page link, set the link to:
/#about
