How can I add a hover effect to Brooklyn Theme product pictures?

Hello, I have been trying to add the hover effect feature to the product pictures on my collection pages. I have tried several codes suggested on here, but none of those codes have worked. Does anyone know how to do it? Or can you refer me to an updated version?
