How can I add a parallax effect to my landing page banner?

Hello Shopify Community :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I am trying to add the parallax effect to the banner image on my landing page by editing the code. I do not want to use Pagefly or another app because I would need to recreate my entire landing page and embedded links. I tried following step-by-step instructions on how to do change the code, but my storeā€™s code does not have a ā€œtheme.scss.liquidā€ file in the assets section.

Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you! :slightly_smiling_face:
