how can I add colors to logo header only on shopify debut theme

I tried editing the code but could not find any asset file that is theme.scss.liquid.

Firstly, are you wanting to adjust the color of the header where your logo is positioned, as shown below?

If so, it is certainly possible to alter the background color of your header, although this would require some minor code adjustments. Our team could help you with this change as you are using one of our free themes and your request falls within customizations we can support.

Support for your Shopify theme

If you’re on the Basic Shopify plan or higher, then you can receive 60 minutes of complimentary design support. We provide this free of charge for Shopify themes if the change falls in line with our Design Policy. Our team tracks the time that they spend on each theme modification request that you make.   • Online store > Themes > Actions > Edit Code

  • Assets > theme.css.liquid:

Important Coding Reminders:

  • If you make changes to the original code and save the changes. We always suggest you first duplicate the theme and work in the duplicate. That way you can always go back to your previous version.

  • If you need custom changes but would prefer the help of a developer we recommend Shopify’s own Expert Marketplace.

  • If you’ve changed theme files and need to revert them, you can roll back .liquid files individually to a time and date before you made the changes.
