I haven’t seen any updates on being able to add more than 100 products to a discount. CAN SHOPIFY PLEASE do something about this? I am trying to run a BOGO sale and some customers cannot receive the discount because I could not include all of my products. There’s literally no reason for this and it is hindering sales. PLEASE FIX! Thank you so much.
Hi, @PetPantry
Greetings, and thanks for posting!
While you may run into issues when selecting products manually, there is no limit if selecting specific collections, or all products.
For example, you can create a specific collection including all of the products you want the discount to apply to, and select that specific collection when creating your discount.
I hope that helps! In the meantime, make sure to check out our blog post all about how to drive sales through discount links!
Thank you so much, I will try that. I appreciate your response!

Hi Skye, thanks for your suggestion but there is a tiny issue that surfaces when doing that (adding products to a collection to handle the discounts).
If your intent is to offer 10% discount on quantity of > 100 pcs of any Product, then irrespective of the number of Items of Product A or B or C, if they add up to >100, the discount is automatically activated even if the individual items do not total 100. This defeats the purpose of the discount because one might have wanted to offer 10% discount for >100 pcs of Product A but 0% for Product B or C, which is only possible if the individual products are added to the discount slab, no matter how many products there may be. The same thing doesn’t happen if the discounts are for collections instead of individual products.
I wonder if I was able to articulate the issue ![]()
What is the point of only allowing 100 products to be on sale with a discount code? except for just making it harder for us, and making us purchase another app. Adding all the sale items to one specific collection just ads another confusing step. It adds more work for us, and more confusion for the customer. We shouldn’t have to add a completely new “Sale code” section to our store, for a promo that we are only running for a limited time. Then we have to explain to customer that you can’t click on the same item in any other collection except the “sale code” section to get the code, so if someone is clicking a link from say google, pinterest, or another social site, it’s going to take them to the link for the product in its regular collection not the sale one, so the discount won’t work. I’m so tired…I just want to add everything but new arrivals to the discount code, this is a basic thing here.
