I’m afraid there is not a “step-by-step” guide for this. For each theme it will require a different approach. If you share your website URL perhaps someone can offer further insight.

It looks like Afterpay has instructions on their website here, on how you can add their payment icon onto your store’s footer. Because Afterpay is a third-party provider outside of Shopify however, if you still need help implementing Afterpay’s payment icon I recommend getting in touch with the Afterpay support team here to see if this is something they can help you with.

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason you’re using Afterpay for your store’s alternative payment gateway?
