I’m new to Shopify and I’m having trouble with product information on my website. I add my product descriptions through the products page, but for sections, such as, materials and care instructions, I have to add the text when I customize the theme. I will go to a product add the text in the section, but it will copy it over to all my products. What can I do to save the text in that section only for that one product? I haven’t had luck with support, so any help is appreciated thank you!
Metafields is solution for your query. You have to add metafields in product page like material, and care instructions. Once you add them from settings → metafields then you will find same option in your product page. Now here enter the details you want to for specific product.
And lastly check with theme product settings how to call metafields. If option is not available then you have to customize the theme files and call it.

The first step is to create metafield definition. Head over to admin Settings and click the Metafields section. Then select Products and Add definition. You can see the example setup for the ‘Materials’ definition, but you will create new for other definitions. You can find a guide on creating these definitions on this link here.
Then, head over to your product page in the admin and scroll to the bottom. This is the part where you add information specific to the product you’re editing. It will ensure that correct information appear for every product. Edit metafields with the information you want to share for each. You can see the example in the image below. Don’t forget to save changes.
