How can I adjust the height of the newsletter and header sections in the symmetry theme?

Hi i’m working with the symmetry theme. I’m new to shopify so i don’t have much experience.

Please can somebody help me change the height of the newsletter section on the homepage and the header section. Both are too big currently.
