How can I change button backgrounds and add text to dropdown menus in Dawn theme?

2 things that I can’t seem to find an easy answer for on here or Google.

1.) Is there a way to change the background of my “shop now” buttons on my featured products? I can’t seem to find a way to change the colors on these ones specifically.

2.) Is there a way to add text below the main text on the navigation drop down men. I want to show

Baby

0-24M

as a dropdown in navigation but can only do it as (Baby - 0-24M) currently.

I tried to attach pics to make more sense but it isn’t letting me. My website is babiesandbeyond.co if that helps.

Thank you!

did you code the quick view boxes yourself or did you use an app?

The “shop now” ones? Those were in the theme. The only things I did myself on here was setup the drop down menu and I did use an app for the filter selections.

My Dawn theme does not have that option. I only know how to add those with code. Where is that option in Dawn?

It should. If you click on that section and scroll down to “product card” area there is a “enable quick add button” box to check. Check it and it should pop up.

I have that option but that is not what you have. On your home page where it says Add to Cart that is not Quick Add. Quick Add adds the item to your cart with one click. What you have is called Quickview which is the pop up with the product information, pictures, variants, etc. To have Quickview on Dawn theme you either have to code it or use an app. It is very easy to change the color of the button if you have it coded. without knowing how that is on your site it is hard to help you change the color.

That is really odd. I have no clue how to code anything and I definitely don’t have an app for this.

have you looked at you home page on https://pagespeed.web.dev ?

the mobile tab is what Google uses to test your site and it plays a lot into your ranking yet it can also tell you a lot about what you need to fix so that the user has a good experience on the site. 38 isn’t good but you could bump that up quickly. easiest to fix is: do not lazy load largest centerfold paint, properly size images, add alt text to images,

I see you have many 3rd party apps installed that are hurting your speed. you should really determine which of these are worth having based on the benefit you receive compared to the the damage they are causing your site.

the more you learn page speed insights and how to fix the problems the better at technical SEO you become. there are other aspect of SEO but this is an good one to start with as you continue to build out the site

Yes, I do monitor this and have someone fixing it as we speak.
