How can I create multiple automatic discount codes for different products?

I need to create multiple automatic discount codes for different products and I’m getting an error message stating that I can only have one active automatic discount at a time. Am I missing something in settings?

You can have only one active automatic discount at any given time. Automatic discounts take precedence over discount codes, and customers can’t apply multiple discounts to a single order. Discount codes are unavailable for customers who have an automatic discount applied to their checkout.

I noticed this problem back in 2019. But so far it has not been eliminated.

Yes, that’s the hard limit of auto discount. Only 1 discount can be used. But it’s going to change soon. As mentioned in the latest Shopify Editions, discounts will be able to combine soon: https://www.shopify.com/editions/summer2022#discounts
