How can I customize HTML code for each collection page?

Hi,

I would like to have custom html code per collection page.

At the moment the custom html code is displayed everywhere with the same text. I would like to be able to adjust the text per collection. So google crawls my collection of pages again.

I tried to create a new custom html code in the code that only shows up with the correct collection. I just don’t know if that’s the right way. Or do I have to create each collection separately to be able to add a custom html code.

Hopefully there is a simpler way to solve this by displaying custom html code only in locations that match the collection.

@Wesley9 _ recommend to add this html code to the back end of the collection, in the collection description html view.

Otherwise you either need to change your theme to the one which allows different description on different collection or create new template for each collection (not much feasible)

By this code do you mean the code that you added to the attachment? Because I use the prestige template and it has default template for the collection. This means that the custom html code is the same for every collection page. Is there a way that I can insert in the custom html code so that a filter is built in so that the correct text is only displayed with the correct collection.

@Wesley9 - yes insert your html code in collection description in html view, that way you can use different html for each collection

otherwise need to create separate template for each which is not feasible.

Yes, that is not the intention, because then it is at the top of the page and must be at the bottom. It mainly means to be able to put SEO content there. But I’m going to dig into it again myself. This should be easy to solve.

@Wesley9 - edit theme file to change description code location, copy from top, paste at bottom and the comment the code at top, this should solve the issue

Due to this difficult shopify hassle, I deleted my collection template. How do I get that back. The simpler everything is made, the harder it is to adjust what is a bummer.

@Wesley9 - since the page is deleted, you need to reupload the theme. yes It is bit complicated

Your are kidding me?! So all the damn changes i already in that template are gone!!! This must be a joke, what kind of company does not make a backlog

Where do I pay monthly for everything the code is all too difficult to adjust. Because it is all made too simplified and then also no backlog. Really I’m furious! Everything is complicated if you wanna change something small!

@Wesley9 - I request you to contact shopify staff or support rather than doing anything on your own or by reading anything here. DO not delete/change anything till then

So what is posted here is complete nonsense. Good to know they are all amateurs here. Sorry I’m really unbelievably angry.
