How do I customize my theme I currently have the dawn theme. I just started my store 3 days ago so have no idea what I am doing. I have the starter plan do I need to upgrade my plan to be able to customize my store. I am so lost at this point.

The Shopify Starter plan is for merchants that are just starting out and who want to sell to their customers through social media platforms or messaging apps, without maintaining an online store. The Start theme is ready to use with Starter Plan, and cannot be edited.
The Shopify Starter plan doesn’t include an online store or Shopify POS. If you want to use Shopify POS or create an online store to sell products, then you need the Basic Shopify plan or higher to access the Shopify POS app and the online store sales channel.
Once you have upgraded your plan, you can begin customizing your theme! I’d highly recommend you look further into the Dawn theme as there is a lot more flexibility to customize your pages without any coding required! With Dawn, some of the cutomizations that you’d normally have to request our Support Team is now available to be done from your end. I also highly recommend checking out Shopify Learn. We have a course on website design that goes through how to set up a website that suits your brand well. There are other courses too, from analyzing your data to marketing to your target customers.
