How can I customize the slider banner in Dawn theme?

Hi,

I would like to know how to make the text in this white, the smaller text centered, and also how to make the button solid white (not transparent) with black writing.

Thanks for replying.

I actually want that black box behind the writing on the slider to be transparent - or even mostly transparent so you can read the text over the image.
