How do I remove the text from the cart page in debut theme? The specific text I want removed is…
“Enter your child’s name for a personal delivery experience! (optional)”

It looks like that text you are seeing in the cart is part of the notes feature in your theme. It allows you to communicate a message to your customers, and for them to leave any relevant information. You can absolutely disable this feature completely, or you can choose to edit the text of the message to display something else, e.g. ‘Please leave any special instructions about your order here’.
We have a help doc here that explains the steps required to both enable/disable the cart notes, and also edit the language to change the message. Feel free to try either method out by following that guide, and let me know if you are having difficulty! As a quick reference, I tested this myself using the Debut theme. You can use my below screenshot as a guide when you open up the theme editor:

Please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Go to Online store > Themes > Actions > Edit code.
- Step 2: Go to sections > cart-template.liquid and find ‘CartSpecialInstructions’ and remove code:
