How can I disable the abandoned cart automation?

Hi, how can I disable the abandonned cart automation from shopify.

I read to go to setting checkout and uncheck the box but there is nothing like that.

Thanks for the help!

The setting should be there, the screenshot is attached for reference.

Settings > Checkout > Abandoned checkouts > Automatically send abandoned checkout emails.

Hi Nick

Thank you for your answer

Whene I click checkout there is no “abandonned checkouts”…

Is this for another version of shopify?

Thanks for your help!

J.

Consider sending an email to merchant support- let them can look into the account. They should be able to make a switch on their end.

If the link keeps redirecting to the home page, try opening the link in Chrome Incognito mode.

Thank you for the update!

@Bob39 out of curiosity what’s your use case

  1. is the store in trial and not open and your making test orders?
  2. Or is the store live and checkouts are being created for abandoned carts: In which case why would you not want customers to be notified?
  3. other?

Thanks, Just to clarify for future readers,

Afaik currently there’s is also no api for disabling abandoned carts either to workaround this annoyance in setting up and testing stores.

Alternative is to manage this through the email client/service. Most have things like labeling or filter automations , and settings for disabling stuff like push notifications based on those labels|filters , /shrug.
