How can I display currency names instead of symbols on my site?

Hi, I wanted to know if there is a way to show the name of the currency for international buyers. When people see the $ sign, they are questioning if that’s USD or local currency. Anyone has any idea how I can replace $ with the currency name like USD, JPY, AUD etc? Many thanks!

I would like to give you the recommendation to support you so kindly follow steps below:

  1. Go to your Settings

  2. Scroll to Store currency and then remove $ and add currency like this : https://prnt.sc/QC4QDg8EfADA

To converts prices to your customers local currency, you need to use the 3rd app if your theme doesn’t support.

Thank you @GemPages and sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I did change the currency from pound sign to GBP, it does change the price to GBP but for customers in outside of UK they are still seeing the dollar sign. Please note that they are already seeing the price in local currency so that works fine but it’s just the dollar sign that I wanted to change so they’re not confused if that’s in GBP or USD or local currency. In that case do I still need to use a third party app?
