Hey, I’m just curious, if there is a way to do something like this. When I oped my product page, first image that shows up is the image of the first variant. Is there is way to show different image, not image of the first variant? Or to set it up like this:images of the variants will only show up when you choose vari
We’re not sure that we’ve understood what you mean, so we’ll split it into two cases:
If you want to change the image on the all product pages, you can change the media order of each product, and drag your image into the frame with the largest size.
If you want to display an image different from the first variant’s image on the product detail page, we advise you not to do this. Default Shopify will focus on the first variant so the user can identify which of the product variants is the first variant. If you change this, users won’t know which variant is the correct image or may be mistaken for other images. Usually, in most other sites, it is necessary to display the image of the first variant. If a variant is not selected when the web page is loaded, the image, price, and quantity of that variant will not be displayed. The “Add to cart” or “Buy Now” buttons will not be enabled since no specific products are selected. This will be quite annoying for the client so we recommend you should not do that.
