How can I display product discounts on the Down Theme?

Hi, how can i to show discount on product page on Down Theme? Maybe any apps or codes? Thanks in advance.

I understand that you’re looking to show a discount on your product page. Are you able to provide some more context as to what type of discount that you’re looking to display? If you want your customers to be able to see the original price and sale price, you can do so directly from your Shopify Admin. Once you’re there, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Products.

  2. Click the name of a product.

  3. In the Pricing section, set the Compare-at price to the product’s original price.

  4. Set the Price of the product to your new sale price.

Thanks for your response, yes, i want to show original price and 20% sale, and i have tried to do it from Admin Panel “compare at price” but nothing has changed

If you are using the Dawn theme, then updating your compare at price will show a crossed out original price of your product. It’s possible that you did not update the compare at price for your variants. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Select a product from the Products page.

  2. Scroll down to the Variants section.

  3. Find a variant you want to put on sale, and click Edit.

  4. In the Pricing section, set the Compare-at price field to the product’s original price.

  5. Set the Price of the product to your new sale price.

This will also mark the item as a Sale item. If you’re looking to display a percentage off, then this will take some customization. Follow these steps below for a basic customization:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
  3. Select a template from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click + Add section, and select Custom liquid
  5. From there, paste these lines of code:
.discount-tag {
display: inline-block;
background-color: red;
color: white;
font-size: 12px;
font-weight: bold;
padding: 4px 8px;
border-radius: 4px;
} 

  1. Optional: Click and drag the ⋮⋮ icon next to a section to rearrange the sections on your page.

  2. Click Save.
