How can I display star ratings on my homepage collection?

You need to install a review app into your store.
For free you can use the Product Reviews from shopify: https://apps.shopify.com/product-reviews
Or you can view more on this link: https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=review

Hello, thank you a lot for your prompt reply. I am using Alireview in my store. I can get all the review in the product page. But I would like to display the rating star on the collection here

have you try to check settings in Alireview app?
have you active review on collection page in Alireview app?
In this case, I think you can contact with Alireview support team, they will guide you how to show the review on the collection page
