How can I edit the long descriptions on my collection pages?

I have descriptions on some of my collection pages that I don’t remember how I added them, as it was about 3 years ago.

If you look at this page - Ethanol Fire Pits Australia – hotfirepits, it is the long description below the products that are listed, not the short description above.

I checked with support, and they can’t help me. Would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to (or help me to) edit this.

Thanks in Advance :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @hotfirepits ,

You can add the collection description on the admin dashboard.

  1. Go to the products → collections
  2. Select the collection and you can see the option to add the collection description

You can try this code by following these steps.

But before doing this, you need to make a copy of the theme and make modifications in the theme copy.
Step 1: Go to the online store ->Theme ->Customize.
Step 2: Find the collection page. Then find the corresponding editing content, which is most likely a rich text editor.

If you will unable to implement it then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know.

Hopefully it will help you. If yes then Please don’t forget hit Like and Mark it as solution!

Thanks LuffyOnePiece, but this is only for editing the top description. It’s the part below that I can’t edit.

Hi @hotfirepits ,

Have you checked the customization?

It may be added from the customization.

Hi AnneLuo

Can’t seem to find anywhere to edit once I get to the collection page?

Thanks for reaching out to me and sharing all the details.
I need to check if your theme can do what you want.
so I need to access your store as a collaborator if possible.
